81. Mistake in my characters name - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
One option: since you've got three character slots, you can use a second slot to create a new character with your preferred name. You can't transfer over any skills, but any money on your old character's account can be given to the new character. ...

82. Fastest way to incursions? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Some fleets are actually welcoming to newcomers, and they'll have suggestions for ships to try and recommended fits. Some may demand one or two faction or deadspace mods, but not so much in a "you must be this rich to ride this ride" way as for yo...

83. Incursions Start here. - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Having flown with WTM, it's not so much that they demand a deadspace EM shield amp, it's that they don't want an active EM hardener that'll crap out if you get hit by neuts and leave you with a wide-open EM resistance hole, and with lower compensa...

84. Sticky:[Summer 2014] Hull Hitpoint Rigs - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
...oh, wait, I looked at the meta-4 bulkhead, ran the numbers, and it looks like the MWD/50k cargo/200K EHP Orca can still be a thing. It'll just need my Orca pilot to train ICS V, and since that pilot's also a booster, that's a beneficial skill i...

85. Sticky:[Summer 2014] Hull Hitpoint Rigs - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Ouch. I just realized that there's one edge case that would get hurt by a cargohold penalty to bulkhead modules. An Orca flown by a pilot with ICS IV, with two T2 cargohold rigs and a T1 ACR, can do the DC/bulkhead hull tank, fit a MWD for pulse-...

86. mjd/scram - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Also also worth mentioning: the last time I tried lighting an MJD and got scrammed, that started the three-minute cooldown timer even though the MJD had just gone spuh . (I only got out because I was travel-fit up to the eyeballs.)

87. Kicked out of Gallente FW. How do I get my standing back up? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
If you do get accepted into a corp and have a week to work with, you can work on boosting your standings by blitzing FW missions. Grinding from L1's is a pain, but if there's a generous soul in the corp, you might be able to fly on his/her wing on...

88. Stratios or Pilgrim for Cloaky PvP? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
One minor note: while the Stratios can jump through a black ops bridge, it can't mount a covert cyno generator (I tested with a character that can sit in a Stratios and has CFT V). For solo combat, that shouldn't be a concern, but it means the Str...

89. Angel Extravaganza Bonus room - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
After routinely getting routed in the AE bonus, I succeeded without a warp-out in an MJD, cruise-missile, passive/buffer-rigged Rattlesnake. My tactics were basically to jump, primary the missile towers, then lay down low-transversal drone fire on...

90. Does anyone play EVE exclusively on Surface Pro or equivalent? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The standard Surface runs Windows RT; the Surface Pro runs Windows 8, and I've seen pictures posted of the EVE client running on it. I'd opt for something closer to an actual laptop if you're going to be travelling with it, though; EVE's interfac...

91. Module has run out of charges - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
My rule of thumb for PVP has generally been to keep one or two spare reloads' worth of ammo in the cargo hold. For PVE, which is much more of a marathon than a sprint, you'll want more ammunition. One hundred thousand rounds may be excessive, howe...

93. Rock bottom? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The last-ditch solution if you've been taken for absolutely everything: the free noobship, which always assembles complete with civilian weapon with no ammunition requirements and a civ mining laser. (And if you strip off the turrets and repackage...

94. Meager selection of Hybrid ammo - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You might be at a station or in a system that doesn't have faction or T2 charges stocked. You'll generally find a good selection at the major trade hubs: Jita (but watch out for hostile traffic), Dodixie, Amarr, Rens, or Hek.

95. The recent Pirate faction BS changes forgot one thing. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you check, none of the SOE ships were included in the pirate rebalancing: not the Astero, not the Stratios, not the Nestor. The reason's probably simple: the rebalance initiative was well underway before the SOE line was introduced, while every...

96. FW Question - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
You're a valid target to the opposing militia anywhere, and vice versa, and CONCORD and gate guns won't interfere unless you aggress someone with whom you're not at war.

97. Mission running - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Like they said above, some L2 or L3 missions will have gates that will lock out a Dominix. I'd recommend you have a Myrmidon handy (and perhaps a Vexor as well, if there are missions that lock out battlecruisers); those smaller drone boats are pre...

98. Sticky:[Summer 2014] Pirate Faction Battleships - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
From what I can tell, the Rattlesnake's missile velocity bonus was pretty much worthless, especially for cruise missiles, since those missiles have always been secondary weapons on the Rattler, and cruise missiles would shoot out beyond the Rattle...

99. Sticky:[Summer 2014] Pirate Faction Battleships - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
This may sound very silly, but there's a borderline-OCD voice in my head wailing about the Rattlesnake's launcher mounts being lopsided with the new setup. Functionally, though, I'm really liking the changes.

100. How I can get BPO and can I build POS next to already occupied moon ... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Depends on the type of BPO you're looking for. Tech II BPO's are no longer dropped, and are only sold over contracts for obscene amounts of ISK. Tech I BPO's are generally sold by NPC's at various stations, or re-listed by players at market hubs.
